Theresa Kuhn

About me

I am Associate Professor in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam where I am also Head of Studies for Politics in the BA programme PPLE. Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Nuffield College at the University of Oxford. I obtained my PhD from the European University Institute In Florence.

My current project on solidarity in the EU is funded by a VENI grant of the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research. I have received several awards, including EUI’s Linz-Rokkan Prize in Political Sociology and the UACES Best Book Prize.

I conduct cross-national survey analysis and laboratory experiments to study how citizens react to European integration and globalization in their attitudes and collective identity. I have been cooperating with colleagues from sociology, behavioural economics, and psychology.
